GunnersGaming by Betsson, Arsenal’s Official Betting Partner, give us the rundown on some of the markets on offer ahead of Saturday's match against Aston Villa...

Arsenal ground out an impressive 1-0 win at Everton on Wednesday night as they moved up to third in the Premier League table. It was not long ago that such a feat seemed unimaginable, and great credit must go to Arsène Wenger and his players for putting together such an impressive run. Six league wins in a row has turned the season around and established a strong position from which to push on.

Aston Villa, on the other hand, find themselves at the wrong end of the table having won one of their last six matches. However, the last two league meetings between the two sides have both finished 2-1 to the away team, so Arsenal will be hoping to end that pattern on Saturday. Our Football Predictor gives Arsenal a 75 per cent chance of doing just that with victory this weekend, so it is no surprise that an Arsenal win offers little return at 4/11.

The Predictor is forecasting a 2-0 Arsenal win as the most likely outcome, available at a rewarding 4/1.

The last five matches at Emirates Stadium have seen the Gunners notch up an impressive 20 goals with just six against, so it is no surprise they are just 10/11 to win by two goals or more.

While Arsenal are flying high on confidence it is worth noting that Alex McLeish's side have proved tough opponents at Emirates Stadium in recent times, with the hosts managing just one win and two draws in their last five encounters. So perhaps there is value in an Arsenal win by just one goal, available at 11/4.

The resurgence of Tomas Rosicky has been instrumental in Arsenal’s return to form and he looks a tempting bet at 9/2 to produce another goal on Saturday.

However, it was Thomas Vermaelen who was the source of Arsenal’s winner on Wednesday and with three goals in his last 20 home games, only Robin van Persie has scored more in the same period. Back the Belgian to find the net again at a rewarding 11/2.

Wednesday night was also a rare occasion in the sense that Van Persie failed to get his name on the scoresheet. The Dutchman did strike a post at Goodison Park and remains the red-hot favourite to open the scoring on Saturday, available at 9/4.
