EA SPORTS Player of the Month - VOTE NOW!
Six games, four wins, two draws and 17 goals scored - October was another productive month for Arsenal.
Half-a-dozen of those goals came in the month's opening fixture against Blackburn and Emirates Stadium maintained it's fortress-like status against Birmingham and Tottenham in the Premier League and Liverpool in the Carling Cup. Life wasn't so rosy on the road as leads were let slip at Alkmaar and West Ham but both points will come in handy.
There are a number of contenders for our Player of the Month award. Thomas Vermaelen and William Gallas continued their impressive partnership in defence, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy were solid in support and Alex Song did a fine job shielding the back four. Cesc Fabregas made Arsenal tick from the centre of midfield and Robin Van Persie was too hot to handle up front with six goals in six October games. The Carling Cup kids stepped up too with Fran Merida and Craig Eastmond taking plenty of plaudits.
Who do you think was Arsenal's outstanding performer in October? If you're a registered user of Arsenal.com, this is YOUR chance to cast your vote for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award. The deadline for voting is 10am (UK time) on Wednesday, November 11.
What's more, one lucky voter will be chosen to present the Player of the Month award to the winner before the home game against Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on November 29. They will also win two tickets to watch that game.
Remember - you should only consider games played in OCTOBER when you cast your vote. Tell us why you voted for that particular player and don't forget to include a daytime contact telephone number. Good luck!
