Bacary Sagna believes AZ Alkmaar’s late leveller on Tuesday night is a lesson in concentration for his Arsenal side.
The visitors seemed to be cruising to victory at the DSB Stadium before David Mendes Da Silva lashed home a volley in the dying seconds.
Arsenal are still top of Champions League Group H and highly likely to progress to the Knockout Stages but, for their right back making his 100th appearance for the Club, the draw felt like a defeat.
“Yes it does but we have to stay focused until the end of the game and we have to learn,” he told Arsenal.com.
“Tonight we switched off because we thought maybe that the game was over and they scored a nice goal.
“With injury time, we have to concentrate 95 minutes these days. Tonight we only concentrated for maybe 90 minutes so we just have to learn from it and take all the positives we can.”
