Arsenal striker Kelly Smith scored twice but then got sent off as the Women's Premier League leaders won 6-1 at Leeds Carnegie.
Smith gave the Gunners a great start with two goals in the first five minutes.
Jade Moore's seventh minute strike brought the home side back into the game, but 11 minutes later England winger Karen Carney restored Arsenal's two-goal advantage.
Smith saw red along with Carnegie's Alex Culvin when the pair squared up to each other following Culvin's 22nd-minute challenge on the England striker.
Gemma Davison stretched Arsenal's lead five minutes before the break, then Carney put the result beyond doubt with a 47th minute penalty.
England midfielder Katie Chapman completed the scoring 15 minutes from time.
