Kelechi Nwakali scored in the first leg of MVV Maastricht’s 1-1 play-off semi-final draw against Cambuur and then assisted in the second leg as his loan side won 2-1 to set up a meeting with Roda JC. Nwakali opened the scoring in the first leg before Sander van de Streek’s equaliser. In the second leg, Martijn Barto gave Cambuur the lead before Steven Pereira and Thomas Verheijdt won the game for the visitors.
Calum Chambers played the entirety of Middlesbrough’s 3-0 loss at Liverpool. Georginio Wijnaldum gave the hosts the lead, before goals from Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana. Chambers made 24 appearances for Boro
Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes as Roma won 5-3 against Chievo. Lucas Castro opened the scoring, before Stephan El Shaarawy levelled the scores. Roberto Inglese restored Chievo’s lead, before two strikes from Mohamed Salah and goals from El Shaarawy and Dzeko gave Roma a 5-2 lead. Inglese scored a consolation in the 86th minute.
Jon Toral played 75 minutes in Rangers' 2-1 victory over St. Johnstone, scoring a goal. Kenny Miller and Toral gave the Gers a two-goal lead, before Graham Cummins pulled one back. Toral made 12 appearances in total for Rangers, scoring twice.
Ismael Bennacer played 74 minutes as Tours lost 3-2 at Ajaccio. Mooed Madri and Riad Nouri gave Ajaccio a two-goal lead, before Maki Tall and Bryan Bergougnoux pulled Tours level. Mohamed Camara scored the winning goal for the hosts.
Julio Pleguezuelo played the full game as Real Mallorca won 1-0 against Almeria. Brandon scored the game’s only goal.
