Two more goals from Olivier Giroud has taken him to the brink of an exclusive group - joining the Arsenal ‘100 club’.

But the France international insisted after the game against Stoke that the win was what was all important, particularly win the race for a top-four place so tight now.

on winning in a stylish manner…
It was not so easy for us today and we knew that it was going to be a tough game. We’ve been efficient up front, and very compact and aggressive defensively. We defended well from the front when we lost the ball, so we’ve been good in transitions and played through the lines. It’s a great win for us and we are hoping for more to come.

on dominating but struggling to break Stoke down in the first half…
That’s it. The most difficult thing against these kinds of teams is to score the first goal. After that, we have to be efficient. That’s what we obviously seek to do. As I told you, we just made the difference at the end.

on how much this puts pressure on Liverpool…
Obviously we have to do the job by focusing in our games, but to be honest with you I will be a big fan of West Ham tomorrow! They have all my support. We have to do the job first and then see about the other results after. We’re going to keep the faith and keep fighting until the end.
