We have just been informed that due to ongoing repairs to a water main, Benwell Road will remain closed tonight.
This road closure is expected to cause considerable congestion in all roads in the area around Emirates Stadium for tonight’s Premier League match against Watford.
There will only be limited pavement access through Benwell Road, with no vehicle access permitted.
Any vehicle with a valid car park pass for tonight's match should access Emirates Stadium via the Holloway Road and Hornsey Road junction.
We urge anyone using this route to allow plenty of extra time to their journey, as the roads around the stadium are likely to be extremely busy
