With the January transfer window now open, Arsène Wenger was asked about his plans for any signings and whether anyone would be leaving this month.

The Arsenal manager was understandably keen to play his cards close to his chest, but admitted that there was unlikely to be much activity.

on the transfer window…
In our club, who is going out? Nobody at the moment. Who is coming in? Nobody. The best way would’ve been to get Cazorla back, to get Danny Welbeck back. Anyway, there is very little hope to find players of that quality in the January transfer market. So the best way to deal with that is to get our injured players back.

on whether Arsenal have had any offers for Jenkinson or Debuchy…
No. We’ll see what happens.

on Ricardo Pereira…
No, we are not [interested in him].
