Jack Wilshere played 68 minutes of Bournemouth's 4-0 away defeat to Manchester City. Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Kelechi Iheanacho, Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan saw Pep Guardiola’s side claim all three points.

Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes of Roma’s 1-0 loss at Fiorentina, with Milan Badelj scoring the game’s only goal.

Joel Campbell was substituted at half-time as Sporting Lisbon went down 3-1 to Rio Ave. Tarantino opened the scoring before Helder Guedes and Gil Dias also found the net. Bas Dost secured a late consolation for Sporting.

Takuma Asano played 78 minutes of Stuttgart’s 1-0 win over Kaiserslautern before being substituted. Simon Terodde scored the game’s only goal.

Tafari Moore played 66 minutes as Utrecht lost 5-1 at home to FC Groningen. Oussama Idrissi fired the visitors into a two-goal lead before Richairo Zivkovic pulled one back. Danny Hoesen restored the two-goal lead, with Tom van Weert adding a fourth goal. Hoesen then rounded off the scoring by adding his second goal. 

Glen Kamara played 56 minutes after coming on for Sammie Szmodics in the first half of Colchester United’s 1-1 draw away at Barnet. Tariqe Fosu opened the scoring after six minutes before Curtis Weston levelled for the hosts.

Kelechi Nwakali made his debut for Maastricht, coming on as a substitute in injury time as MVV won 1-0 against Ajax II thanks to a Joeri Schroijen goal.
