Olivier Giroud scored twice and Laurent Koscielny also started as France reached the last four of Euro 2016 with an entertaining victory over Iceland in Saint-Denis. The Arsenal striker opened the scoring after 12 minutes, clinically firing home in the area after latching onto Blaise Matuidi's inviting pass. Paul Pogba, Dimitri Payet and Antoine Griezmann - who was set up by Giroud - extended the lead in the first half but Kolbeinn Sigthorsson pulled a goal back 10 minutes after the break. Giroud then nodded home his second soon after to put the result beyond doubt, before both he and Koscielny were substituted. Birkir Bjarnason's late header completed the scoring. France face Germany in the semi-finals - meaning Giroud and Koscielny are likely to play against Arsenal team-mate, Mesut Ozil.
