Arsenal’s Finsbury Park store was re-opened today after a complete refurbishment.

The unveiling of the new store also marked the date that the new Arsenal PUMA 2016/17 home kit officially went on sale in all Arsenal stores and on ArsenalDirect.com.

Club legend Charlie George was there to lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony, alongside all the staff from the Finsbury Park store and club mascot Gunnersaurus.

As part of the opening, the first 50 customers to visit the new store were entered into a lucky dip to win complimentary Arsenal merchandise. Prizes included Arsenal bar scarves, new 2016/17 home shirts and a framed 2015/16 home shirt signed by the entire squad.

The new-look store mirrors the contemporary look of the flagship Armoury store at Emirates Stadium and offers fans a more extensive product range, improved personalisation service and a faster service on matchdays.

The new store is made up of three zones which consist of a replica kit area, with an improved women’s range, Arsenal apparel, and a dedicated gifting and souvenir area.

Simon Lilley, Arsenal’s retail director, said: “At Arsenal we always strive to offer supporters and visitors to our stores top-quality service. This is an important factor behind the refurbishments that have taken place at our Finsbury Park store which first opened in 1991. We have modernised the whole look and feel and the experience for fans. We look forward to welcoming supporters through the doors of the new store as we have done for the last 25 years.”

The Finsbury Park store, The Armoury and The Arsenal at Highbury House are open from 9am-6pm, Monday to Saturday, and 10am-4pm on Sundays. Online shopping is available 24/7 through www.ArsenalDirect.com.
