'It was a game where everything clicked'

By Lloyd Webb

Arsene Wenger says “suddenly everything clicked" during the 5-2 victory against Tottenham in February 2012.

The Gunners were two goals down after half an hour but managed to turn the match on its head by scoring five goals in 50 minutes.

On the fourth anniversary of the famous win, Wenger says he strives to give these moments to the fans.

“That was a day where suddenly everything clicked,” he told Arsenal Player. “Going forward we were tremendous. That was an exceptional day.

“We work for these moments when we give these fans who love the club, and football as well, these greats moments.

“It shows you that in football, anything is possible as long as you believe and focus on the quality of your game and refuse to give in. To go through uncomfortable moments in the game and not lose that desire to win - that is the key.”
