 Aaron Ramsey spoke to the media following Arsenal’s 2-0 win at Bournemouth:

on the win…
We need that badly. We realised what Leicester did yesterday and we needed to close that gap so it was important to get back to winning ways.

on the Leicester game changing today’s approach…
There was no room for error today and I think the boys responded really well. We got back to winning ways and we have a big game against them next week. I’m sure that will be one everyone is interested in seeing so hopefully we can keep this run we are on.

on the Ox’s goal…
I was a good performance for him today and it was a good goal so hopefully now he can keep up this form.

on Bournemouth’s quality…
They have proved that all season with the type of football they play. They like to get it down and play around teams and they showed that. I think we dominated midfield well in the first half and we got a couple of goals which won the game.

on a good start…
It was important to stay defensively solid. I think we did that today with the amount of chances they had.

on the bigger picture…
It was important to bounce back from the few results we have had of late. I think that we needed to do that especially with the result that Leicester got. It was important to stay within touching distance of them and it will be an interesting game with them next week.

on beating Leicester…
What they have done this season is quite remarkable but we will need to be right on it to get there points. Hopefully the momentum we have we can take into that game and come away with a big victory there as well.

on going through a bad patch…
It is important to get a few good results now and some good wins to carry on towards the end of the season. We are in a good position at the moment and hopefully we can just maintain this.
