Theo Walcott has warned that Arsenal will face a “completely different” Chelsea in Sunday’s game at Emirates Stadium.

The Premier League champions have had a disappointing season so far and lie in 14th place in the table after a string a surprise defeats.

While Walcott has been taken aback by their results, he is expecting another big battle against Guus Hiddink’s team this weekend.

“It is very unusual what has happened to Chelsea,” he said. “It just shows that everyone is competing and nobody is afraid of anyone in the league.

“They are not getting the results they want but when they come up against us in a big game at the Emirates, it is going to be a completely different team we face. They will be up for the challenge.

“They are always a threat. They have got top-quality players, even though some of them are not playing to the standards they set last year but in these games, nobody can call it.”
