Ladies five aside league

Monday Football League

 Arsenal Ladies have been running a Monday night Ladies five aside league to engage female players for the first time, or those who may have played the game previously and are looking to get back into it.

The league supported by St Albans City council Sportivate and Premier League Women & Girls funding has been running for the last seven weeks offering weekly matches for just £10 per team or a maximum of £2 per player.

Two teams have been involved in the league engaging 60 independent players. Colney Heath Ladies were the leagues winners.

We run numerous sessions within the community but this is the first time we have tried to work with players aged 16+. The atmosphere around the games was fantastic, competitive yet fun and friendly."
