on doping…

I’m not concerned there is a doping problem in England, not at all. I would be absolutely surprised. I spoke in January about the rule and I had a conservation with Uefa about that and they do not specifically make the rule, they follow the rules that are set but I don’t think in England that we have a problem with it.

on Arsenal having leaders…

It is important. You want all 11 players to be leaders and to take initiative, communicate and transmit to other players what they see on the pitch. [You want them to] motivate the other players and be constructive and positive. That’s what it’s about in the leadership action.

on hoping days like that were in the past…

Yes, you are right but in the last 38 games when we scored first, and we were 1-0 up, we won 37 times. in the last 25 games before West from, when we scored first we won 25 times. You have to consider that mathematically as an accident.

on if that result makes Norwich game more important…

I believe that we gave everything and that can happen. Football is as well fantastic because it’s not always predictable. West Brom were well organised and played well on the day.

on if he’ll watch Leicester v Man Utd…

It will be quite interesting because Leicester are a team who have no pressure and they play with no pressure and quality. It’s a very explosive team, especially on the flanks. When they win the ball, they come out on fire in a very explosive way. At the start of the game, Man United will have the possession and Leicester will be the team that can create havoc on the counter-attack. It’s very hard to predict.

on good away form…

We trust the way we play. We have a desire to play our game and we find good offensive talent with defensive efficiency. [Against] West Brom it is true we had a bad result but it was very unfortunate to lose this game, [and] we have shown that with a good and quick response on Tuesday night. on upcoming games and a key period… We just played West Brom. It’s what I said the other day - in our league it’s not who you play, it’s how you play and we have to focus on that.

on whether he will sign in January…

We are in a  position where we want to do something. If I find the right quality I will do something.
