Pedro Martinez Losa says reaching the Continental Cup final is a big reward for his players.

Arsenal Ladies face Notts County on November 1 after beating Birmingham City 3-1 in Sunday's semi-final, with Marta Corredera, Dan Carter and Alex Scott all on target.

It is the Gunners' fifth successive Continental Cup final and Losa says this speaks volumes for the team's efforts over the season.

“It says what kind of club we are,” he told Arsenal.com. “It says we are a club that has been investing in women’s football. The club has invested the most in women’s football in history.

"I think we have full confidence going into the final"

“It is the club that has probably won more but you have to also see how Arsenal has been investing year after year in promoting women’s football and giving young players and senior players the opportunity to play and be professional.

“Obviously we want to keep in that direction and this is a message we can send to everyone. Arsenal is here to win and to be ahead of women’s football in England.

“I think this is a reward the team deserves, especially the players for their efforts they have put in all season. We have been playing good football and the players and the team are playing better. I think we have full confidence going into the final.

“The season has been hard sometimes with the results at times but football is always giving you what you deserve. Now we have the opportunity to play a final and to make sure we do all that is possible to bring the trophy to our club."
