Hector Bellerin has praised Arsenal’s youngsters for their performances in the Barclays Asia Trophy victory against a Singapore Select XI.
Chuba Akpom scored a hat-trick as the Gunners secured their place in the final, while the likes of Alex Iwobi and Dan Crowley also made their mark.
Bellerin was pleased with the performance of the team and believes it bodes well for the future.
“We have trained really hard over the past two weeks and the team is looking really good,” the Spaniard told Arsenal Player. “We showed it in the game.
“The team has the same feeling as last season, we have been involving the young players and they showed great talent to score goals and do well.
“It is nice for Chuba to get a hat-trick and definitely nice for me to get an assist in the first game, but the whole team played really well. I am happy for Chuba to score a hat-trick in his first game in pre-season.”
