Lianne Sanderson to leave Gunners

Lianne Sanderson has left Arsenal Ladies following an eight-month spell back with the club.

The 27-year-old forward helped the Gunners to a strong start in the 2015 Women’s Super League season, featuring in all six league games so far this term.

A graduate of Arsenal Ladies’ Centre of Excellence, Sanderson won five league titles, four FA Women’s Cups and the UEFA Women’s Cup in her first spell with the club.

England international Sanderson also helped her country to a third place finish in the Women’s World Cup in Canada this summer.

Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Lianne for her contribution to the club and to wish her the best for the future.
