Information for fans going to Wembley

Wembley Stadium
Wembley Stadium

The Club has compiled the following information to help supporters with tickets for Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final plan their day.

Kick-off
Please note that kick-off is at 5.20pm at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (April 18, 2015).

Please note that the Central line will be closed all weekend between Queensway and North Acton, and there will also be a reduced service on the rest of the line.

Turn Wembley Stadium red!
The team colours have been announced for the match, with both teams wearing their traditional home kits. Reading in blue and white, with Arsenal wearing our home red and white kit.

We are asking all supporters to wear red on the day to make Wembley a home from home for the team!

Tickets
The match is now officially sold out, with both clubs having sold their allocations. Arsenal and Reading have both received approximately 31,000 tickets.

This is an all-ticket match and therefore anyone without tickets should not to travel to Wembley Stadium.

Lost tickets. If a supporter loses their ticket they should approach a member of stadium staff who will direct them to the ticket office. Each incident will be looked at individually and details of the ticket with proof of purchase may well be required. Supporters are advised not to show their tickets until they are about to enter the stadium. There have been incidents in the past where tickets have been snatched out of people’s hands whilst walking up to the stadium. Please hold on tight to your tickets and keep them close to you at all times.
If possible, please also make a note, or take an image of your ticket on your mobile phone before you leave home for the match.

Arsenal pubs
Arsenal has been allocated the west side of Wembley Stadium and a number of pubs have been designated ‘Arsenal pubs’ for the semi-final. Supporters wishing to go to a pub before and after the match are encouraged to visit one of the following [insert link].

The pub split only applies to those premises directly around the stadium. There are many other pubs further afield but within walking distance of the stadium will accept supporters from all teams but this will be at the discretion of the individual licensees. Many of these pubs will accept families but again it is down to individual pubs so please check first.

The London Designer Outlet which is directly opposite the stadium has a number of restaurants which sell alcohol and are family friendly. There are also three external open air bars close to Wembley Arena.

Wembley Stadium will be opening its doors two hours before the advertised kick off and will be selling alcohol on the inside concourse. Stadium staff will welcome you into the stadium as early as possible to avoid possible queues at the turnstiles and to enjoy the pre-match build up events.

Controlled Drinking Zone (CDZ). Please note that the Borough of Brent (Wembley and surrounds) operates a Controlled Drinking Zone (CDZ). This prohibits the drinking of alcohol in the street. Police have the power to seize and dispose of open canisters containing alcohol in the street where necessary. This legislation has been put in place to protect local residents as they have previously suffered from drunken, anti-social behaviour from supporters travelling to the stadium.

Wembley Stadium free app
Supporters are encouraged to make their journey easier by downloading the free Wembley Stadium app from the iTunes Store or from Google Play.

The app will assist you with navigating your way from your home, all the way to the stadium and will also provide insight into the stadium and the day's event.

In the build-up to the game there will also be exclusive content available on Wembley Stadium’s official Twitter account - @wembleystadium allowing supporters to get the latest news and also stay up-to-date with any travel news.
