Young Arsenal Ladies defender Vyan Sampson has undergone successful surgery on her knee.
The 18-year-old, who was injured during training, will now commence an rehabilitation programme with the Arsenal medical team.
She will be working to return to action after the Women’s World Cup in Canada.
