Wellington played 61 minutes of Almeria’s 2-1 defeat at Bilbao. Xabier Etxeita put the hosts in front and Mikel Rico doubled their advantage before half-time. Mikel Balenziaga then turned into his own net to pull one back for Almeria, but Fran Velez was sent off for the visitors in the final minute to quash any hopes of an equaliser.
