on returning from injury…
I had a medial ligament injury in my knee. I got it at Stevenage in training, so it was great to be back. I’ve been out for about 13 weeks now so it’s just a good feeling to be back on the pitch.

on his loan…
It was a great experience. Obviously there are different facilities there, games are more intense and physical than the under-21s so I loved the experience.

on what he learnt at Stevenage...
The mentality of the players there helped me. The physical side of it is something I need to work on.

on the physicality of League Two...
You have to really call for the ball to put it on the ground but once you get the ball obviously the talent takes over.

on the possibility of another loan…
I’m hoping to go back on loan, hopefully to Stevenage soon. Obviously I want to get some game time here first to get my sharpness back. Maybe in the next few weeks I’ll go back there and hopefully finish the season there.

Renny Smith

on the draw…
We deserved to win it. We had many chances to win the game. We could have been 3-0 up at half-time, which was frustrating. To get a 0-0 draw away from home is still a decent result though and it’s better than losing.

on his own performance…
I think I had a good game, created a few chances which we could have scored from, and helped out with attacking and defending. I got up and down well and really enjoyed it.

on his versatility…
I find places difficult to get in midfield so I’ve dropped in at right back. I’ve played nine different positions this season, so that’s all of them other than up front and in goal. Maybe I’ll play as a striker soon!

on his goals for this season…
I just want to have as many games as possible. I want to keep trying to be the best player on the pitch week in, week out. Hopefully that will lead me to better things in the future.
