Chuba Akpom and Danielle Carter have helped The Together for England Roadshow encourage schoolchildren to be more active in an event at The Hive.
The Arsenal strikers, who represent England Under-20s and Ladies respectively, welcomed pupils from Camrose Primary School, St Bernadette’s Primary School and The Hyde Primary School to show off their football, cricket and tag rugby skills.
Once the winners had been decided, the group of 60 settled down to grill the football stars and discover what it takes to play sport at international level.
The event not only showcased the international training facility, it was also a chance to promote England Under-20s' forthcoming fixture against Mexico Under-20s on Wednesday, March 25.
The Together for England Roadshow looks to encourage a consistent thread of national pride aimed at creating a better England, both on and off the field.
