Benik Afobe has completed a permanent move to Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old forward has been on loan at MK Dons since the start of the 2014/15 season and scored 19 goals in 30 games for the League One side, including a brace against Manchester United in the League Cup in August.

A graduate of Arsenal’s Hale End academy, Afobe first joined the Gunners aged eight. He went on to become a regular for Arsenal’s under-21s and featured for the first team in pre-season.

The England under-21 international had previously taken in loan spells with Bolton Wanderers, Reading, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday.

Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Benik for his contribution to the Club and to wish him all the best at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
