It’s true that sometimes it goes in numbers at the same time. You have enough experience and I have as well to know that Christmas is always a sensitive period because people reflect, sit together in their families, talk - they say, ‘you should do this, you should do that’. It’s always a very sensitive period for the managers because you have half the season to go, it’s a moment where people are scared to go down sometimes and that’s why everything’s happened.

I believe he has the potential but he has played one game, so it is a bit early to judge that. He will make a career and hopefully he will make it here. I want to give him credit because he kept his work rate and focus in training at a very high level when he didn’t play. Then he went to Charlton and had a very good spell there as well.
