Poppy shirt appeal

Per Mertesacker

Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that a selection of our exclusive match shirts from the Swansea City game on Sunday, November 9 are now up for auction on Arsenal’s auction site.

The shirts, which feature a poppy embroidered design and the words ‘Football Remembers’, were worn at the Liberty Stadium and are being auctioned to raise further funds for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

The Royal British Legion hopes to break previous fundraising Poppy Appeal records with an ambitious target of £40million this year. With your support, we are hoping to help them reach that goal.

Each shirt has been signed by the respective player. All money raised will go towards the Poppy Appeal, which helps raise funds for serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families.
