Mikel Arteta replaces Mathieu Flamini to shield the defence while Jack Wilshere also returns in favour of Santi Cazorla.
Olivier Giroud also returns from injury to start the game on the bench.
Elsewhere Danny Welbeck starts against his former club alongside Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a pacy front line.
