The club has compiled the following information to help supporters with tickets for the FA Community Shield on Sunday plan their day.

Wembley Stadium, London.

Team colours
The team colours have been announced for the match, with both teams wearing their traditional home kits. Manchester City in blue and black, with Arsenal wearing their home red and white kit.

Tickets
This is an all-ticket match and therefore anyone without tickets should not to travel to Wembley Stadium.

West End of Wembley Stadium
The Arsenal fans will occupy the west end of the stadium, the same end as both FA Cup final and semi-final.

Match Officials
The FA Community Shield will be refereed by Michael Oliver, his assistants will be Stuart Burt and Darren England. Jon Moss will be the fourth official.

No extra-time – straight to penalties
If the game ends in a draw after 90 minutes, a penalty shoot-out to determine the winner. There is no extra-time.

Goal-line technology and ‘vanishing spray’
There will be goal-line technology in operation for the match. Referee Michael Oliver will also be equipped with ‘vanishing spray’, which was used effectively during the World Cup in Brazil to allow officials to mark ten yards from the ball to the wall at free-kicks. The spray, which is made mainly of water and butane gas, will also be used in the Premier League for the forthcoming season.

Arsenal pubs
Arsenal has been allocated the west side of Wembley Stadium and a number of pubs have been designated ‘Arsenal pubs’ for the FA Community Shield.

Please note that some of these pubs are different to those allocated for the FA Cup final and semi-final.

Arsenal stewards
A number of Arsenal stewards will be located around the turnstiles at Wembley Stadium, dedicated to Arsenal fans, in order to offer assistance if required.

Wembley Stadium free app
Supporters are encouraged to make their journey easier by downloading the free Wembley Stadium app from the iTunes Store or from Google Play.

The app will assist you with navigating your way from your home, all the way to the stadium and will also provide insight into the stadium and the day's event.

In the build-up to the game there will also be exclusive content available on Wembley Stadium’s official Twitter account - @wembleystadium allowing supporters to get the latest news and also stay up-to-date with any travel news.

Important travel information for Sunday
We have been advised of the following transport issues on Sunday. Please leave plenty of time and plan your journeys accordingly:

  • There will be no Metropolitan Line service between Rayners lane and Uxbridge
  •  There will be no Overground services between Queens Park and Watford
  • Access after the match to Wembley Park station will only be via Olympic Way

Please note that ‘Prudential RideLondon’ is taking place across London over the weekend. Prudential RideLondon is a festival of cycling involving hundreds of participants. There will be many road closures across London on Sunday, which could disrupt journeys of supporters wishing to drive to the Wembley area. The following travel information is a guide to assist supporters in planning their journey to and from Wembley Stadium for the FA Community Shield on Sunday. This information is correct at the time of compilation. All supporters are encouraged to check with their relevant transport providers before they travel for any updates. Getting to Wembley Stadium 

Wembley Stadium regulations
Supporters are reminded to adhere to the ground regulations at Wembley Stadium at all times. This includes:

Anti-Social behavior - The FA will investigate all allegations of abuse at Wembley Stadium. If you experience a Racist, anti-Semitic, Islamaphobic, homophobic or transphobic incident at the match please report it to the Police or a Steward. Wembley Stadium treats anti-social behaviour seriously and expects all visitors to treat staff and fellow visitors with Respect.

If you experience anti-social behaviour close to you, please use the anti-social text service, details will be displayed on posters around the concourses.

Persistent standing – Everyone should respect their fellow supporters (particularly children, OAP and those with mobility difficulties) and refrain from persistently standing during the match.

Pyrotechnics – The use of pyrotechnics including smoke bombs is strictly prohibited – any person identified with these items will be arrested.

Alcohol consumption – Intoxicated supporters will be denied access to the stadium or removed from the stadium. Alcohol is not permitted on public transport.

All pubs in the Wembley area close one hour before kick-off to allow fans to gain entry into Wembley Stadium. There is a controlled drinking zone around Wembley Stadium, therefore supporters cannot consume alcoholic drinks on the streets.

Designated areas within Wembley Stadium
Arsenal fans will only be permitted into areas of the stadium that are designated to Arsenal. If your match ticket is in the area designated to Manchester City fans you will be removed from the stadium. This match is sold out therefore relocation is not possible.
