Arsenal will introduce a range of initiatives during the 2014/15 season to reward fans attending away games for their dedicated support.
The club’s supporters will once again receive a £2.50 discount for every away Premier League match ticket purchased this year.
The subsidy, which was also offered to supporters in 2013/14, is intended to reward those fans who travel away from home most regularly and will roughly equate to the price of an ‘average’ away ticket over the course of a season. The reduction will be made on the advertised ticket price at the point of purchase.
Travel support will also be provided this season around games where fans face significant challenges getting to and from matches. The club will work with supporters to identify games where assistance is most required, and concentrate its support on these fixtures. Further details will be communicated in due course.
The club will also provide away supporters with a refreshments voucher worth £10 at an away fixture this Christmas.
Supporter liaison officer Mark Brindle said: “We have fantastic away support and we recognise that they put a huge amount of time and money into following the club around the country.
"We’ve tried to come up with initiatives that will benefit the greatest number of away fans in the most meaningful way, and we hope that they will make things a little easier for our away fans during the course of the season.”
This package of programmes is the result of a Premier League initiative for 2014/15 to reward away supporters throughout the division for the dedication that they show to their clubs.Copyright 2014 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
