Extra: Boss on FFP and manager award

Arsene Wenger faced the media on Thursday ahead of the Norwich City game. Here are some extra quotes from his press conference. For more headlines, visit our Digest page.

on what he likes about Financial Fair Play…
I'm a compete supporter of Financial Fair Play because I think that every business should live within its own resources like in any other activity.

For the punishment I think it's a sophisticated punishment. I would like a more simple one that makes more sense but they have studied that for a very long time, certainly to be in accordance with the legal side of it, I don't know.

You would think you accept the rules and you're in the competition or you don't accept the rules and you're not in the competition. Then everybody would understand it.

on Manager of the Year contenders…
You have plenty of candidates. You have two kinds of candidates, those who win the league and those who do not go down. Among those who do not go down, you have Pulis, Bruce, Poyet now who has done a magnificent job because he got to a cup final as well.

Then after that you have Pellegrini who will win the league or Brendan Rodgers who has done remarkably well because both their teams played as well a very attractive game.

on Tony Pulis...
He has done a remarkable job, taking the club when they had four points. It is remarkable what he has done.
