On the game...
"Legia played a game with good commitment. They started better than us and played well going forward. It was good preparation for us, Legia were dangerous. In the end we won 6-5 but it was an enjoyable game."

On what he said at half-time....
"I thought we were too nervous and we had to be calm. Play out from the back. And I thought we would come back in the game if we were a little calmer and more composed on the ball. We played too many long balls. We also had to change some positioning on the pitch. But in pre-season it is important to play the way you want to play. You have to be detached from the result."

On the strength of the side he put out...
"We played 100 per cent of what was available. We had some heavy legs. Legia gave 120 per cent. We were not at our best today but Legia made it very difficult for us."

On the Englishmen on show...
"Kieran Gibbs is slowly coming back to his best. That is good news for us and for England I believe. Walcott and Wilshere were a little jaded today but overall they have had a very sharp pre-season campaign."

On Legia's new stadium...
"The stadium is fantastic. When it is finished, it will be a very hot, hot, hot atmosphere for the opponents. The fans are absolutely amazing too. I was impressed when I walked in. When it is completely closed it will be a very impressive atmosphere. It is a long time since I have seen something like that. I said to my assistants during the game 'it is better than the vuvuzelas'."

On the situation with Cesc Fabregas...
"We are not in a Cristiano Ronaldo place. We are just focussed on the new season. Fabregas is one of our best players. We want him to stay and be focussed. He will be our captain this season and I hope for many seasons to come."
