Arsenal Ladies secured their place in the last 16 of the Women's Champions League with a 10-0 aggregate victory over FC Bobruichanka of Belarus.

Harvey's side sealed victory with a thumping 6-0 win on Wednesday afternoon and after the game the Ladies boss shared her thoughts with Arsenal.com.

on the lessons learned in Europe....
We learnt a lot last year. At some points we trained too much and at others we didn’t do enough. But we’ve learnt from our mistakes in this competition and we know we have to prepare differently this time around.

We’ll have a break now before meeting up again for the next round. The girls will have international matches as well so it’s not like they won’t be playing football but it just means we won’t be together the whole time.

on the importance of clean sheets…
I was delighted with the way we played over the two legs and to keep consecutive clean sheets was excellent. Keeping clean sheets is really important and to get 10 goals over the two legs was excellent.

on the difficulty of coming into Europe campaign on the back of the domestic season...
It was a difficult week last week and obviously we are at the back end of our season so to get these two games out of the way has been nice. Now we can have a bit of a breather and have a week away from each other before we start preparing for the next round.

on the importance of being able to rotate the squad for the wins over FC Bobruichanka....

We were able to give game time to those in the squad who have not had as many minutes as some of the others. That’s what this round of the Champions League, at this moment in time, is about for us. It was just what the squad needed.

It’s been a long hard season for a number of the players and many needed to have a breather. Some have not had as many minutes as they have liked so it’s good we can give them more game time in these matches.

on the new faces being promoted to the first-team squad...
This is what Arsenal are all about. We have set up our academy, we have a number of kids coming through and we’re extremely proud of it. We want to keep it going and to have the opportunity to give the youngsters a little taste of first-team action every now and again is really important. It’s hard to do with the current Super League set-up but if we can give them a chance in the Champions League it’s great.

on the blend of youth and experience in the current Arsenal squad...
Apart from Katie Chapman and Yvonne Tracy everyone who played against Bobruichanka is under the age of 25 and it shows what we have got for the future. When we needed the old heads they have been magnificent this year and the youngsters are proving they want to step into their shoes when the time is right.

on Arsenal’s possible opponent in the next round...

It’s looking likely to be Rayo Vallecano in the next round but we will wait and see whether they can finish the job against PK-35 Vantaa. We know any game in the Champions League will be tough but we believe over two legs we are good enough to beat anybody in the competition.
