on the performance…
Overall I thought we played well again. Credit to Liverpool, they are a good side. They counter-attacked and picked us off [early on], and we didn't start too brightly. We got caught with a bit of a sucker punch but then we created some good chances and got our game going after 15 to 20 minutes. Once we got to grips with things, we acquitted ourselves really well.

on the end to the game…

It petered out to a draw in the end, but before that we created some good opportunities and could have got more out of the game.

on Abou Diaby
It is fantastic to see him back. He has been through a hell of a time with injuries, hopefully he is fine now. He got a knock - it's not a muscle strain - on his ankle when he scored the goal, but he hasn't twisted it or anything.

on Zak Ansah's injury…
We don't know about him yet. He twisted his knee as he went in for a tackle and that is more of a worry for us. We have him iced up and we will assess him when we are back at the training ground.

on Benik Afobe's display…
I was pleased with him effort-wise. He looks a bit rusty, but that's only natural because he has been out for five months. He needs some more games, but it is unfortunate that we are running out of games for him.

on the latest news on Fabrice Muamba…
I am so pleased to hear about [his improvement]. I was aware on Monday that he was speaking in English and in French and it is a godsend. It is fantastic what everyone has done to keep him alive, and hopefully he will make a full recovery and live his life. Fabrice was such a big part of our lives for five years, he is a smashing lad and worked ever so hard. So we are all praying he makes a full recovery.
