Thomas Vermaelen believes Robin van Persie's all-round game has blossomed this season.
The Dutchman has been in scintillating form in all competitions so far, scoring his 15th goal of the campaign in the 1-0 victory over Everton last weekend at Emirates Stadium.
Vermaelen, current deputy to captain Van Persie, believes the in-form striker's development is a joy to behold.
"It's amazing if you play with him, even in training," the defender told Arsenal Player.
"I knew before that he was a quality, world-class player and that technically he was really good. He's scoring goals now and his game is more complete.
"He's fit, playing every game, scoring goals and for the team that's really important. Personally I'm really happy to be playing with him every game."
