Arsène Wenger believes Arsenal's fans have raised the roof in recent games because they have received the "right vibes" from the players.

The atmosphere at Emirates Stadium has been terrific throughout the past three home fixtures as a rejuvenated Arsenal side dug deep to beat Tottenham, AC Milan and Newcastle.

The supporters gave the players a standing ovation after their 3-0 win over Milan - even though they were knocked out of the Champions League - because the team gave everything on the night. Wenger hopes that will continue.

"I always said that the vibes have to come out from the team," he said.

"When the fans feel that the vibes are right they stand behind the team and support the team. With the recent history of the team having been more positive, the fans have more reason to believe that they can support the team and that they will win the game.

"But the dynamic always has to come from the team."
