Neil Banfield spoke to Arsenal.com following Arsenal Reserves' 2-0 victory over Fulham at London Colney on Monday.

on the victory…
I thought it was a good performance, some of the football we played was of really high quality. It was good to see Emmanuel Frimpong have a game too, so yes, I'm pleased.

on forgetting the West Brom result…
Yes, although even at West Brom we played some good football but we just let ourselves down with a couple of individual errors in certain instances. But I think today was a good all-round performance.

on the most pleasing aspect of the display…
I think some of our one-touch play was excellent, and the way we were patient on the ball. We moved them around and we've been working on that by watching the first team a lot. I was really pleased with that combination and one-touch play.

on the perfect start…
Sometimes when you score early it can go either way. You can sometimes sit back or you can go on and score a few. But credit to Fulham, they made a real game of it and we needed the second goal to really finalise the win for us.

on international break…
We'll be working [as normal] because we've got a game against Norwich next Monday. We'll be recovering tomorrow, training and then we'll work towards next Monday's game.

on Ryo's premature substitution...
Ryo has sprained his left ankle and will be out for a minimum of three weeks.
