Arsène Wenger is confident his Arsenal side can end Didier Drogba's goalscoring form this weekend, despite the Ivorian's immaculate record against the Gunners.

Drogba scored doubles both home and away against Arsenal last season as Chelsea recorded two victories and the 32-year-old has found the net 12 times in his last ten games against Wenger's side.

The manager believes if his side are defensively astute there is no reason why they can't keep Drogba and co at bay.

"We can [stop him]," said Wenger. "Nothing is forever, so we can stop it.

"I feel we should not make an obsession of one player of Chelsea because they have a few players who can score goals against us.

"What is important is that we have the ball, that we dominate the game and that we are efficient defensively."
