on the overall performance...
I thought it was a good all-round game, with two good sides trying to play good football in really bad conditions and it was our day. It was nip and tuck for the first 35 minutes but we have got our noses in front, and that is the game, you take the win 2-0.

on the most pleasing aspects of the display...
We have worked on team shape and organisation and they kept to the shape and way that we want them to work. I was pleased with their tactical knowledge. Sometimes you have to change the way you play and work a plan out and I thought they took the knowledge and the information we have given them and it worked today.

on winning a fourth game in a row,,,
Obviously winning is the biggest thing that matters, but also important is the development of young players to get them ready for our first team and Chelsea's first team. You have two good clubs here who are developing top-class players and it is a breath of fresh air and [good news] for the future of the English game.

on keeping another clean sheet…
Chelsea play a different way and test you tactically and with their movement, so it was a great test for our players. Overall I am delighted.

on the inclusion of some of the younger players…
When you look at the young players ourselves and Chelsea have been pushing into their reserve side and being successful, it is a real testament to the good work that both clubs are doing.

on Chuks Aneke and Gavin Hoyte's return from loan…

They have come back into the side and their attitude has been first class, so I am very pleased with them.
