Arsène Wenger says Emmanuel Frimpong can prove he is Premier League quality during his loan spell with Fulham.
The Ghanaian-born midfielder, who missed seven months of action last year due to a knee injury, has already spent time Charlton Athletic this season, where he made six appearances.
The 21-year-old will stay with Fulham until the end of the campaign, with Wenger keen for the midfielder to prove his credentials.
“At the moment he has many players in front of him and he is at an age where he needs to play,” the manager told the Official Matchday Programme.
“I am 100 per cent convinced he has the quality to play in the Premier League. He comes back from injury, the players in front of him are fit and he’s a bit stuck there. I want to give him an opportunity to play.”
