Arsène Wenger says Birmingham fans will not cover themselves in glory if they sing Martin Taylor's name on Saturday.

Arsenal return to St. Andrew's this weekend for the first time since Eduardo suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle after a challenge from Taylor in the opening minutes of their Premier League fixture in February 2008.

Eduardo's involvement on Saturday could depend on the fitness of Nicklas Bendtner but Taylor will certainly not feature - he is currently on loan at Watford. And Wenger hopes the Blues supporters will refrain from chanting his name.

"I don’t expect that because that is not glorious," said Wenger. "Even if he was their player. I believe that you do not want to hear that.

"No [my feelings have not changed about the incident]. The best thing is not to speak about that anymore.

"The best way to help Eduardo is not to speak about what happened there and for him to show that he has come over it.”
