Nico Yennaris insists he does not mind which position he is selected to play in - just as long as he gets more chances with the first team.

The 19-year-old made his Premier League debut at right back against Manchester United last season, but started in central midfield in the 6-1 win over Coventry on Wednesday night.

The versatile teenager has spent much of his career in midfield, but says he is happy to fill any role that helps the team.

"I don't mind playing at right back or in central midfield, as long as I am playing," Yennaris told Arsenal Player.

"Obviously I had a taste [of first-team football] last year so for this season my aim is to break through again. Obviously I had a chance against Coventry and hopefully I did alright.

"We know we have a big squad this year, and [the Capital One Cup] is a good opportunity for some of the younger players such as myself to get some game time to show what we can do."
