On the performance...
"We were positive and overall I am disappointed because we lost the game but proud of the attitude of our young players. They coped mentally and overall we played well. It is difficult to go into any individual performances but nobody was disappointing. At the back we controlled the game well and overall I must say they looked like they play every week in this competition.
"I expected to suffer more than we did tonight. Unfortunately we got caught straight away coming out of the dressing room on the counter attack and after we had two clear-cut chances to come back and then it became more difficult. Olympiacos played on their experience, played very safe and we lacked a little bit of composure in the final third to come back."
On Aaron Ramsey's display...
"He had a good presence, gave good balls and had a good work rate in midfield."
On how well the young players in the side did...
"From Barnet to Olympiacos is a big jump, but they did very well. They were composed on the ball, they played well and overall we had the expected performance but not the result we could have got from the game.
"I am proud that we had a positive performance. These youngsters played exactly like the first team, and they represented Arsenal well tonight, despite the fact that they are the youngest team to have played in the Champions League."
On Theo Walcott's injury at the end of the game...
"He's ok."
On Greek football...
"They have done well. They qualified for the World Cup so congratulations to them.'
On Andrey Arshavin...
"Arshavin is a great football player and the great football players can play in every position."
On the draw for the Knockout Stages...
"I cannot influence the draw. If you ask me there are still some teams I would prefer to others - but if you ask me which teams, I will not answer."
