Wenger on LiverpoolBoss looks ahead to Saturday's crucial trip to Anfield

Arsène Wenger does not believe Liverpool’s Carling Cup success will have much of an impact on Saturday’s clash at Anfield.
Both teams will go into the lunchtime kick-off in high spirits after Kenny Dalglish’s side won their first trophy in six years and Arsenal came from two goals down to beat Tottenham 5-2.
But Wenger insists that once Saturday’s match starts, both sides will be fully focused on the task in hand.
“I don't think [the cup victory] will have a massive impact. What is at stake is a Champions League position,” he told Arsenal Player.
“Liverpool have the same target as we have and it will be tight, but compared to us they are in the position we are in with Tottenham [seven points behind], but they have a game in hand.
“It is difficult for everybody and every game now will be special. That is why it is a massive game for both teams.”
