Arsenal Ladies had several players away on International duty during the month of August, with the Gunners on fine form for their countries. Emma Byrne, Ciara Grant, Yvonne Tracy and Niamh Fahey were all in action for Ireland against Russia in Wexford, with Grant grabbing a goal from the penalty spot in a 1-1 draw.
Faye White, Rachel Yankey and two new signings Ellen White and Steph Houghton were selected for England with White getting a goal in the 4-0 win over Austria. Kim Little, Jennifer Beattie & Julie Fleeting were all in action for Scotland with both Fleeting and Beattie on target in the 4-1 victory against Greece.
