An Arsenal Ladies footballer gave a training session to pupils at a girl's school in Enfield on Monday 7th November.

Kim Little helped out with after-school training for years 7 to 9 at St Anne's Catholic High School for Girls to help inspire its new football team.

The school, in Oakthorpe Road, wants to find a sponsor for kit and equipment to start competing in local matches and tournaments.

Teacher Siobhan Mannion said she hoped the girls would be inspired to play more football thanks to training from a player of the Arsenal footballer's standard.

Kim Little said: "It's a great game for girls to get into and one of the fastest-growing sports and hopefully they'll get a chance to get some competitive matches."

Pupil Loryce Dosunmu-Irawo, 11, said: "It's really good having this kind of training and it encourages us to play more. When I heard she was coming I was really excited."

The pupils were put through their paces with a number of exercises, including passing, tackling and a practice match.
