The Champions League draw is the centrepiece of a week of women's football events at UEFA with a workshop on women’s football development plus draws for the UEFA youth championships also on the agenda.
Representatives from ten UEFA member associations will gather in Nyon to find ways to support women’s football development in Europe.
The aim is to help clubs professionalise their domestic leagues with the use of a number of support tools, such as licensing and financing.
The working group will also be determining a set of key criteria member associations will need to fulfil in different areas e.g. governance and marketing.
These will then be agreed as minimum requirements for three development stages.Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source
