Arsenal Ladies manager Laura Harvey was "delighted" after seeing her team kick off their Women's Champions League campaign with a 4-0 win at FC Bobruichanka.
The Belarus champions made life difficult for the English treble winners and Arsenal had to settle for a slender half-time lead after Ellen White's early goal.
But the visitors showed their class in the second half and ran out comfortable winners thanks to further goals from Jordan Nobbs, Jennifer Beattie and Katie Chapman.
"We dominated throughout without playing particularly well." said Harvey.
"I'm delighted to have a four-goal cushion for the second leg next Wednesday.
"It was a hard ask for the girls to go from a tough Super League season straight into the Champions League, but they've coped well.
"We could have got more goals than we did, but we're still set up nicely for the second leg and I'm confident that we'll go through to the last 16."Copyright 2017 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
