The FA Girls’ Football Festival will be held at Underhill on Wednesday, ahead of Arsenal Ladies’ Continental Cup final against Birmingham City.
The match between the two top sides in this season’s Women’s Super League kicks off at 7pm and promises to be a spectacular finish to what has been a massive year for the women's game.
To add to the excitement of the occasion, girls aged five to 17 are invited to take part in The FA Girls’ Football Festival, incorporating football, lifestyle and music.
The Festival, which runs from 3.30pm to 6.30pm is a FREE programme aimed at encouraging girls to participate in football and will be attended by Arsenal Ladies manager Laura Harvey.
The initiative has already visited 22 venues throughout England in 2012 providing hundreds of girls with an exciting, interactive football experience.
Activities include interactive games and competitions, the ContiWarmUp programme, skills and drills with FA approved coaches, hair braiders, face painters, prizes and goodies as well as digital stations to entertain the girls during breaks in play.
