Belle Amie swapped their stilettos for sneakers at local girls football league.
This weekend saw 2010 X Factor finalists, Belle Amie, show their support for young female football players.
On Saturday 17 September, Belle Amie visited a local girls football league at Roe Lane Playing Fields, Newcastle under Lyme ahead of their performance at the Women's Super League Continental Cup on Sunday 25th September.
Esther Campbell, Belle Amie, said: "We think it's really important to support women in the football industry. As a predominantly male game it's important to remind people that women can play the sport at a high level too."
Players from the WSL, Faye White (Arsenal Ladies) and Jo Potter (Birmingham Ladies) were also in attendance encouraging young aspiring football players and promoting the final game, which will see WSL Champions Arsenal Ladies go head to head with league runners-up Birmingham City Ladies.
White said: "I think it's great to see so many young girls getting involved and being passionate about the game. It's also brilliant to see Belle Amie supporting young women in football and we hope to see plenty of fans showing their support at the big final on Sunday."
After visiting the girl's league, Belle Amie headed over to the Octagon Shopping Centre, Burton upon Trent to meet local fans alongside Faye White. Birmingham City Ladies player, Emily Westwood, also joined them.
Belle Amie will perform their new single ‘Girls Up' at the final. Additionally they will also be letting fans choose a song for them to sing on stage at the final to help support the FA WSL "Call the shots" campaign, allowing fans to have a say on WSL match-days. For more information on the song options and how to vote, please visit the FA WSL Facebook page: www.facebook.com/FAWSL
A Group Booking discount (minimum 15 people with one adult per 10 children) is available at the cost of £3 for adults and £2 for children.
